Today, Sammy and I parked near the Tennis Club, and walked to the Ritz Carlton. We saw a HUGE heron, and talked briefly to some hotel staff who we passed. There were a number of people working on the hotel. A lot of employees in golf carts passed us. One hotel staff member who was driving a golf cart asked me if I had seen the large heron when I crossed the bridge earlier. He had passed me in a golf cart earlier. Sammy and I walked down to the beach. I parked his stroller on the path, and carried him down to the beach. A very cute little white dog spotted Sammy when Sammy was standing in the sand, and RAN toward Sammy. I picked Sammy up. Once the dog was next to us, Sammy just looked at him, until the dog barked, and then Sammy was scared. Sammy may have meowed. The owner came over, and picked up his dog, and apologized. I told the owner that it was ok, and that his dog was very cute. And that Sammy used to live on a property with a very large dog. Sammy seemed to REALLY enjoy the walk in his new stroller. He layed back in his stroller, and sniffed the air. We could smell the wonderful fragrances from the trees, salty air, etc. Sammy was so curious. Sometimes, he rested his head on the side of the stroller. He just looked so comfortable in his stroller.
