We're inviting children and their family and friends to get involved in an interactive virtual challenge to find Santa and save Christmas from naughty elves. Register now and the challenge launches on 1st December. From then you have 25 days to add your family's steps into the 'Virtual Mission' App to make it 10 miles to Santa.
Every 2 miles you'll receive a special email with a fun family activity then on completion at mile 10, you'll get a dedicated link to a video message from Santa and your child/children will get certificates! Full details at www.sbhscotland.org.uk/santa
It's not a race but you will be able to see other families markers on the map so why not challenge other families to a race???
Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Scotland (SBH Scotland) believe no one in Scotland should be left alone to cope with the affects of spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus, especially at Christmas time! For over 55 years SBH Scotland has been the only Scottish charity with a sole remit to support those affected by these rare, complex disabilities and their allied conditions.
With little statutory funding we have to raise over £1 million annually and because of Coronavirus this year the fundraising challenge got a whole lot harder! We anticipate losing up to half of our income (£500,000) so we need as much help as we can to continue our vital lifeline of support over the Christmas period, into 2021 and beyond!
Please help us!! 72p in every £1 spent goes directly into vital support services of babies, children, young people, adults and their families so all your donations will truly make a big difference. Throughout the year and over the festive period we offer a helpline, online social groups and workshops, festive online parties and shows for children, check-in phone service with older members, mental health resources, financial and benefits support and health checks clinics. At this, the most isolating of times our services are now needed more than ever!
